The V-Strom 800DE is powered by an all-new 776cc DOHC 270° crank parallel twin engine, with four valves per cylinder and a long-stroke configuration it delivers a balance of punchy low-down grunt, usable mid-range drive and a free-revving pull, all the way to the top-end.

20L FUEL TANK

The V-Strom 800DE utilises a large 20L fuel tank to offer extended riding range for long distance touring on the road or making it between infrequent refuelling points off it. Combined with the frugal 64.12MPG this gives the V-Strom a theoretical range of over 280 miles.

INTELLIGENT RIDE SYSTEM (SIRS)

LATEST V-STROM EVOLUTION

True to its heritage the V-Strom 800DE features the latest evolution of the beak design that was first introduced on the 1988 DR-Z 800. In keeping with a new look that speaks of all-round capabilities, the sharper new beak is positioned higher, visually conveying the extended suspension stroke and the model’s ability to handle rougher terrain. The other elements of the front end, including the new vertically stacked hexagonal LED headlight assembly, are designed to look slim, light and compact.

What are the differences between HP and PCP?

Personal Contract Purchase (PCP)

Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) can help you to buy a bike with lower monthly repayments than a hire purchase product as a large proportion of the amount you repay is deferred into an optional final repayment. You will pay more interest on a PCP agreement than a HP agreement for the same loan amount, term and APR as your balance reduces more slowly due to the optional final repayment.

You will decide an initial deposit, term and how many miles you'll travel each year. Monthly repayments will then be calculated along with the optional final repayment amount, based on the anticipated value of the vehicle at the end of the agreement.
At the end of the agreement, you can part exchange the bike (subject to affordability), return the bike (return conditions apply) or pay the optional final repayment and own the bike.

Hire Purchase (HP)

Hire Purchase (HP) is a finance plan that allows you to spread the cost of the bike by making monthly payments over an agreed term. You make higher monthly payments than a Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) agreement, so that when you come to the end of the agreement and made all the repayments including any interest, you’ll own the bike.
